Located in Toowoomba, Southern Queensland Australia, Murray’s Art & Framing is the largest art materials supplier in Regional Queensland. Established in 1946, Murray’s is also the longest running framing business in Toowoomba, with a certified in-house picture framer to ensure quality workmanship and peace of mind for your custom order. Our experienced team are available to discuss the needs for your project in detail and will help you choose from a large selection of custom framing options to protect and present your artwork, memorabilia and most cherished memories.
Our retail store can be found on iconic Ruthven Street in the heart of the CBD, central to an ever-growing Arts District in Toowoomba. We are proud to serve artists, students, professionals and hobbyists through the great west of Queensland and down into western NSW. As the only dedicated art supply store in Toowoomba, we source our products from a varied network of suppliers and have a strong focus on artist quality materials. We stock artist quality products from around the globe, including English, French, Italian, German, Japanese, American and Australian brands. With supplies available in the mediums of drawing, watercolour, gouache, oils, acrylics, printmaking, pastels and DIY framing (to name a few), you’re sure to find something to ignite your creative spark.

As an artist owned business and a staff of practicing artists, we strive to have products that are relevant and current to the trends of the day and advice given in store often comes from hands on experience. To further support local creatives and foster community spirit, we regularly exhibit local artwork and artisan wares in our in-store gallery space, showcasing the abundance of local art talent in our region.

To encourage emerging artists, we host a variety of art classes with experts in a range of disciplines and mediums, catering to all skill levels from beginner to intermediate. Murrays aims to support the entire creative journey from nurturing curiosity, to developing skills, promoting play and delivering expert finishes in framing for exhibition ready work.
Our History
